10 Books to Gift

As I was thinking about what to write about today, I thought it might be fun to do something new and talk about what books I would recommend gifting to someone. These might not be the best suggestions, but they are based off of books that I have actually read. Not like the top books of the year or anything. I also included who they might be good for in particular so you have more of an idea of what the book even talks about in the first place before you go gifting it to someone. Here’s the list:

  1. The Selection Series by Kiera Cass

For any girl who loves romance and basically would be interested in a royalty version a “dating show”. This book is good for mainly young adult/teen girls.

  2. The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins

For someone who might just need a little push to get going or needs a little pick me up. This book is recommended for any adult I would say and is a great self-help style of book.

  3. Minimalista or Remodelista by Shira Gill

For the organizer and interior decorator. An adult would like this book, however, I wouldn’t count it out as an option for a young teen. This book helps you minimize your stuff and keep what is primarily necessary.

  4. Carrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid

For the sport lover, particularly in tennis. I absolutely loved this book even though I’m not a tennis player, but if it’s someone who likes sports and reading, this would be a great option to gift.

  5. The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins

For any adult or teen. Everyone seems to want to catch up and read the latest book of this series. Sunrise on the Reaping would be perfect if they are caught up on their reading and want to follow through it all.

  6. Plotting Summer by Jess Heileman

For the girl who loves to read romance. This is pretty clean romance from what I can remember. I would highly recommend reading this fun little story. It’s only about 354 pages which took me probably 3 days to finish I would say depending on how long you read in one day.

  7. The Berry Pickers by Amanda Peters

For the book club lover. This is a great book that brings up a lot of great questions. If your friend likes to host book clubs/parties I would consider this as a great option as it brings up questions about grief and guilt or even just the search for truth.

  8. Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella

For the reader who just loves Sophie Kinsella and a good rom-com book. This one is funny and would be a great option to gift!

  9. The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls

For the person who loves memoirs and a true story. I say this could be a gift more for an adult, however, I did read this in highschool and thought it was written very well. It does talk about drugs and alcohol so just be aware of that aspect of the story.

  10. Let’s Bake Gluten-Free from Erin Collins

For the baker who particularly needs gluten-free food. Any of these volumes would make a fantastic gift! She even has a holiday one that is great!

Leave a comment below if you end up gifting any of these books to someone! I hope these suggestions were helpful and that you can find a great book to gift a reader!
