Favorite Places to Find Books
This is a question I get asked quite frequently: where do you go to find books?
A lot of the time, I search for recommendations off instagram these days because I think we are all doing that to some extent. I typically search specifically for book accounts that focus on reading overall. I follow the Everyday Reading blog and follow Janssen on Goodreads and she always seems to have fun book recommendations. Another instagram account I follow is @youhavetoreadthisnow. I also follow Brady Lockerby on Instagram and she usually has good recommendations that are new released books.
My favorite place to order books would probably be Thriftbooks.com. I can usually find books for fairly good deals there and it’s like a fraction of the cost of buying a brand new book. I will often search for titles that are popular, but if I am looking for a new release book I usually can’t find a copy there.
I also like to order books from Amazon. If it’s a book I know I want a decent looking copy of or it’s a newer released book, I will order it from Amazon. I also spend hours looking through book deals on Amazon.
Goodreads is another place I go to find interesting books. I typically will look at Janssen’s current reads (mentioned previously). I don’t follow a lot of people on Goodreads so if you have any suggestions let me know! :)
If I want to listen to an audiobook, I will typically order it on Chirp. It’s a website and an app that you use to actually listen to the audiobook through. You could also go to places such as Kindle Unlimited or Audible, however, I find that most of the time I want to keep the books I read so I will just order them individually.
