What’s In My Reading Bag?

I thought about how I have a bag specifically dedicated to reading and I thought I’d share some of the fun things that I keep inside! I use a book bag that I made and sell different ones on my website. I highly recommend some of these products and others I am just trying out for the first time!

  1. Planner/Habit Tracker- This one is pretty self-explanatory. I got mine this year from Target, but here’s a similar style/type of planner I am referring to.

  2. Current Book I’m reading. Right now it’s The Lightning Thief.

  3. Clear Pencil Cases- I use these to store my highlighters and other reading materials so that my bag isn’t overly cluttered with all this kind of stuff.

  4. Amazon Kindle- I have an old one, but am looking into getting a Colorsoft kindle such as this one here. I highly recommend getting a kindle from Amazon if you are reading Amazon books because I don’t think you can transfer them to other brands of e-readers.

  5. Takeya Water Bottle- Pretty self-explanatory… So far this brand hasn’t leaked in my bag so I’d say that’s a win!

  6. Planner Stencils- I have some similar to these here. I use them just about every week when I do my planning.

  7. Highlighters- I like using these highlighters especially for my scripture reading. I do have other highlighters I use too, but don’t remember where I got them.

  8. Sticky Notes- I like these ones!

  9. Sticky Tabs- I have a bunch that I bought from Temu, however, they are pretty similar to these.

  10. Sticky Highlights- I use these to highlight quotes that I enjoy from the books I read.

  11. White-Out- Specifically for planning. No I don’t use it in my books. Haha

  12. Remote Page Turner- This is for whatever kindle you get. If you have a thin case, I’d recommend getting this page turner here.

  13. My Reading Life Journal- This book tracks what you read in ideally a year. There’s spots for 100 books and it just has spots to fill in information about the book and also what your thoughts and impressions were on the book you read.

  14. Reading Light- I just got this one and I love it! There’s 3 different lighting settings so that makes it nice too.

What is in your reading bag? What am I missing that I should include in my book bag? I hope this was helpful to some of you. Let me know if you have any questions. Also feel free to share my blog post with a friend if you want or have the chance! Thanks! Talk to you soon about reading for July and what is coming up next!
