What Makes a Book a 5 Star Read for Me? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A five star read for me has to contain these things:

  1. Exceptional writing (Does it really expands the setting and plot?)

  2. Impact (Does it make me want to do something differently?)

  3. Smart Character Descriptions (Does it make me think they are a real person?)

  4. Thought-provoking Message (Does it make me think about the book long after I read it?)

  5. Likely to Read Again (Would I mind re-reading the same book multiple times?)

If a book does and has all of these things, it’s a 5 star for me. I don’t love rereading books that often so it makes it a challenge to get a 5-star rating from me, however, I do find quite a few.

Some books that I have given 5 stars to are these:

  1. Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcom Gladwell

  2. Lucy Loves Him Not by Rebecca Jo Jackson

  3. Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collin’s

  4. Minimalista by Shira Gill

  5. Plotting Summer by Jess Heileman

Let me know if you read any of these books! Also no worries if you don’t agree with me on whether they are 5 star reads. Part of the fun of reading is exploring!
