Top 10 Recommended Books
The top 10 recommended books is a list of books that I refer to over and over again and books that I highly enjoy reading. I would re-read these books in a heartbeat if I had the time. Some are written more for kids, but have a good message behind them. Others are YA novels that are fairly quick to read. The self-help books are the ones I have found to be the most resourceful.
The ranking of all the books is in order below.
Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham
(If you’re a Gilmore Girls fan, I think you’ll like this book. I highly recommend listening to her audiobook though. Makes it so much more real.)
The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls
There’s a movie of this one, however, I would recommend reading the book first if you haven’t seen it. The movie was decent, but having her story written out just seems way more impactful.
Carrie Underwood: Find Your Path
I read this years ago now and still remember the vibe that it gave me when I read it. She even includes a workout routine/game you can play with playing cards. I tried it and it was intense!
Maybe Today by S.K. Williams
I may do a review on this later, but it’s basically a story written through poetry. I found it very interesting.
The Selection Series by Keira Cass
I think there are five books in this series… but correct me if I’m wrong because I’ve only read five. Cute storyline.
168 Hours by Laura Vanderkam
I read this a while back and did a review on it. Basically is just a time management book, but a good one.
Left to Tell by Immaculée Ilibagiza
Hard to read, but the story is written very well.
The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins
Basically, a message that can help improve our lives and is a saving grace. I think I probably enjoyed this one even more than her Let Them Theory book.
Wish by Barbara O’Connor
This one is just adorable. Basically if you loved Because of Winn Dixie, I think you would love this one too.
Alone by Megan E. Freeman
The book is written in verse so it’s very different from a normal book you would sit down to read. The story flies by fast though because it’s so short in a sense. I recommend it because it’s different than the typical book you would probably think to read.
Mainly, these are the books that I love and I hope you can enjoy some of them too! As always, drop your list below of your top 10 recommended books or share which books of these you have read before. Thanks for reading!
