Junk Journaling Favorites
I have recently been getting into junk journaling and have found some great things that I have loved using that I want to share with you! Here’s my top items to make your journaling more fun!
Hexagon Hole Punch- I like using this to cut out small things from each day to remember what I did that day. This could be used to cut into something you ate, a receipt, an image or logo of some sort, etc. It really can be what ever you want. I chose the hexagon because I thought it would be more fun this way.
Paper Corner Rounders- This is pretty self-explanatory. Use it to cut perfect edges on anything, photos, tags, etc.
Grabie Paint Markers- I recommend using this brand to draw and add titles to things that I want to look like paint! I also would recommend getting some of the black and white markers here. Those tend to get used quicker than the other colors!
A Vision Board Book of some sort! I like this one in particular because it feels more modern and creative!
Washi Tape for adding cute borders! I liked this pack because you there is a good assortment of styles and colors!
Canon Ivy 2 Mini Photo Printer- I just purchased this photo printer the other day and I am so excited to use it! I chose this printer because it is supposed to create more clear and sharp images than other printers. I’ve seen so many people use this for book journaling online and wanted to try it out for myself!
I would suggest getting a case for your printer such as the one I did here because it is a pretty small printer.
I also recommend getting this pack of photo sticker paper to go with the Canon Ivy Printer. It’s a little pricey, but you get more out of your money for purchasing more sheets together. I’ll keep you updated on if I really like the printer or not in the future, but I think I’m going to enjoy it!
Acrylic Gel Pens- I recommend getting some acrylic gel pens. They seem to add more shine to go on top of other markers such as the paint markers listed above! I ordered these ones, but have not used them yet. If you’re interested in getting some, let me know and I’ll tell you if these ones are worth the price!
